I have minimal experience in modelling . I have been to two practice shoots. On the first shoot, I brought three different outfits to pose with. The photographer showed me how to pose in front of the camera and I also included some of my poses. On the second photoshoot, I got some advice and tips on how to become a successful model through a presentation which was given by a current model. The current model also gave me guidelines on how to get into contact with casting agencies. I also did a headshot for a skincare as one of the practice scenarios I was given that day. At the end of the shoot, I also practised runways with two different songs for a day and formal party. It taught me how to change the way of walking and facial expressions depending on the music. From both of these shoots, I have taken 31 photos. I have a range of clothing styles that I like such as casual, formal, chic and streetwear. Examples of clothes from these styles include crop tops, mini skirts, shorts, oversized cargos, jeans, dresses, vests,denim jackets, trousers, tracksuits, heels and trainers. In addition to this, I love wearing bold, vibrant and bright colours which makes me feel happier and look at things in a more positive way. As an individual, I am quite caring, bubbly, creative, quick thinker, adventurous, problem solver, team player and I am quite good at communicating. I quite enjoyed going to the gym and learning new things about beauty and nails. I am intrigued by the new techniques and designs that have been produced in the beauty and nails industry. Moreover, music plays an important role in my life as it influences what I wear, my mood throughout the day and the situations that I have gone through throughout my life. For example, I always listen to afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, mauritian music, Rnb and other genres when I am getting ready. This makes me joyful and happy as I enjoy styling clothes and I love dancing while getting ready. In the future, I would like to become a biomedical scientist but I also want to become a model to try different styles and help young girls who self-harm due to their appearance by showing them that everyone is beautiful in their own way. They shouldn’t compare themselves to others like I did.
