About

I’m a first-year PhD student at the University of Liverpool, working within the life/biosciences. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in general biology in 2020, with my Master’s degree in 2021. My PhD is focussed on the area of photosynthesis; which, is specifically aiming to create a new ‘version’ of photosynthesis, which is more energy-efficient (& therefore more efficient at carbon-capture) than any other form of photosynthesis found across nature.

Outside of my research-based work, my primary interests are within personal fitness, where I enjoy playing football and practicing muay thai kick-boxing on a regular basis; and (try) to maintain a regular fitness regime. I also have interests in human philosophy and psychology, and art (surrealist especially, as I’m fascinated by its attempt to introduce the idea of abstract thought/irrationality into the conscious mind for deriving deeper symbolic meanings from the material world).

I also feel it relevant to mention that I may be suitable for modelling in martial arts-related clothing/accessories, due to my previous experience.

I’m excited to collaborate with new people, and take any opportunity that presents itself!
