Travelling around the world seems wonderful doesn’t it? As the daughter of a Navy Military officer, I’ve had to move to different countries, essentially ‘resetting’ my life many times. This experience led me to enrich my cultural knowledge and enhanced my ability to conform whilst contributing to my personal and academic growth. By moving to the UK when I was only 14, I was forced to learn a new language, while working through my GCSEs. Not being able to express myself or understand the people who surrounded me, led to the idea of not being capable enough; these exact struggles helped build my resilience.
Being Head Girl at my school has been a significant responsibility, providing me with a platform to represent my school as well as my peers. In the summer of Year 12, I was asked to help the younger students, organize activities and help them throughout summer school. This experience helped me develop my skills with regards to making and delivering presentations to different audiences. To help balance my academic studies with my free time, I enjoy practicing karate. It is a fun way to stay active and relieve stress, allowing me to approach my studies with a clearer mind. My consistent work and dedication culminated in me obtaining a black belt. The discipline required to achieve this has helped enhance my professionalism throughout the years. Additionally, being a polylingual has provided me with the opportunities to converse and meet people from across the world which in turn has significantly improved my communication skills.

I am a mature, professional, strong-minded and hardworking individual, whose objective is to learn and gain as much work experience as possible. I am a keen observer, who looks forward to learn, in order to become a dependable member, that everybody can rely on.
